Adele’s The long-awaited Las Vegas tour has finally come true, but it’s been a struggle to get here.
Fans were left reeling when the singer decided to postpone her residency at the last minute in January of this year, with some already arriving on the Strip for the big night.
At the time, Adele apologized in a video statement, citing Covid infections across the team as a factor, sharing that she was unable to wrap up the production in time. I’m so sorry to everyone who came to travel again, I’m so sorry,” she said.
The residency was finally rescheduled to start yesterday, Nov. 18, and the “Rolling in the Deep” singer took a moment to speak to the elephant in the room on the opening night of “Weekends with Adele.” rice field.
John Casilometes,columnist Las Vegas Review Journalwas in attendance and he shared a few video clips from the evening. Adele’s important speechwas incredibly emotional.
“I should give you a standing ovation,” she told the roaring crowd. I can see it. It’s perfect.”
She continued, “I’m so scared, so nervous, but so happy. I was thinking of putting a piano ballad on top of the set. disappear.”

Before taking the stage, Adele shared a similar sentiment on Instagram, along with a photo of herself sitting in the auditorium of the performance space.
“I’m feeling all sorts of things as I write this,” she began in the caption. I can’t sit still because I’m sitting there.”
“I think it’s a good sign because it means I care and just want to do a good job,” she continued. “Maybe it’s because I didn’t start when I was supposed to. Maybe it’s because it’s opening night. Maybe it’s because Hyde Park was so great. It’s the first show in my career.” I’ve never been this nervous before, but at the same time, I wish today was tomorrow! Can’t wait to see you at the venue x.
Based on the audience reaction, it’s safe to say that she more than killed it.
Adele’s residency will run through Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Caesars Palace.
